03/18/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: What’s black and white and sweeter than sugar cream pie? Comic! This little lamb never fails to warm my heart. He arrived a bit thin and has some superficial scarring, but neither could mask how adorable he is. He has the face of a perpetual puppy. He is always making the softest eye contact, like he is checking in for guidance or reassurance, but also conveying admiration…I can’t help but see anything but love behind his expression. He has impeccable leash manners and is very mild-mannered — though he still seems very puppy-like, he has never been jumpy or mouthy with me. Once you solicit affection from him, though, unbridled cuddling is the name of his game; he has caused me to nearly topple over from a barrage of kisses, seems “at home” on a lap, and even seems to like holding hands! There’s no doubting Comic’s love for people, and he seems to like other dogs, too. He was found with another male and has been calm and softly wags his tail when we’ve been close to others on walks. I can think of many other adjectives to describe Comic — amazing, gentle, loving — but one that also fits is “homeless.” Could you be the lucky person to change that?? Comic would love to meet you at Brooklyn ACC!
