A volunteer writes: Our gorgeous girl has certainly earned the right to be named after one of the great beauties in history. A sweet, stunning brindlicious beauty, her eyes shine, her tail wags, and her coat gleams with apparent good care. Posing for photos like a pro, Cleopatra sits at request, not made any easier by all the squirrels in the park coming around to taunt her. Her leash manners are good, and although she pulls slightly from time to time is responsive to her person and is a pleasure to walk. Joining me on the bench for some hugs and kisses, she proves to be a delightful snuggler. Cleo was found by someone who brought her into their home for a couple of days and we’re told that she’s housetrained, and got along well with her dogs. In play group she greets others politely, and is “gentle and dainty” in her brief play. Cleopatra earned an “average” behavior assessment meaning she may be a good fit in most homes. Intake notes say she was friendly, gave staff hugs and kisses, and rested her head in staff’s lap. Awwwww……. Come meet our brindle beauty today.
