One has to be very tolerant as a dog to live …with 7 cats…This is one of the many Cleo’s qualities, the other ones picked by her former owner being..very affectionate and cuddly… Cleo, who aced her behavioral evaluation here at the care center, is known to be good with children, other dogs(she lived at some point with two large pooches) and friendly to strangers. She is said to be a very good listener, loves baths and to play with toys and would have zero handling issues. She occasionally had some “accidents” when she was not taken out. Cleo is a beautiful medium size gal, already spayed and who has been very well cared for. She appears healthy, the perfect weight and wears a gorgeous pure Belgian chocolate coat. There must have been a Lab up her ancestry. Here at the care center, pretty Cleo is a bit lost. Left to her lonesome, in a strange place, without guidance and a master to listen too, she does not have a purpose…Nothing seems to make sense..She is leashed easily and walks nicely like the good dog she is, does her business in one stop, sits on command and salutes with a low and slowly wagging tail, other dogs, even the little ones. She does not chase pigeons. Free in a pen, she likes to sit on the bench, is a little handshy at first then settles against my chest for hugs…I put my arm around her shoulders. She needs to feel some love…Cleo made her debuts in playgroup with her peers saluting briefly the greeter dog. I hope to see her soon meeting and enjoying new friends. Cleo is clearly a family dog, friendly, sociable, playful, very affectionate, good with kids, other dogs and small critters. She will fit “like a glove” in many settings and be once again the best friend anyone would ever want, forever this time around.
