05/19/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Cleo is one of those dogs. One of those who makes the volunteers get especially lumpy-throated thinking of her spending even five more minutes not in a home, because she should be homeward bound! Surrendered by an owner for personal reasons having nothing to do with our beloved Labby-looking love, Cleo rocked her behavior test. Volunteers and kennel officers praise her gorgeous leash manners. She is snuggly, she is kissy, she is gentle with treats, she knows how to sit, and she is fantastic with other dogs. Just imagine it: this very weekend you could be in the park with a stunning, heart-achingly affectionate, perfectly behaved, overwhelmingly-grateful companion named Cleo. But hey–we don’t want to keep you from your laundry…
