09/16/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Looking for a new best friend? Look no further, as Claremont is hoping to meet you! He’s a great dog, gorgeous in his auburn coat, well groomed, sweet and friendly. He’s likely housetrained, has good leash manners, and has already won the hearts of volunteers who have spent time with him. A sample of volunteer comments from his walking log: “good boy”, “great dog”, “very easy to walk”, “nice dog and friendly”, “love him”…..need I say more? Claremont could be a runway model, his legs are long and elegant, he walks beautifully on leash, he’s calm and easy, giving kisses when invited, sitting when asked to and taking his reward treats gently. Claremont poses for pictures like a pro, making soft eye contact all the while. He seems to like other dogs, and while at this point he’s not overtly playful in group he’s tolerant and happy to be there. Claremont is waiting for his new person or family to walk in the door. He’s so easy to be with, you’ll fall in love the moment you meet him; ask for him when you visit.
