05/26/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/26/15 14:11 Ciabatta was very friendly during the intake. She had a soft wiggly body, soft eyes, a wagging tail, and an open mouth. She was full of energy and seemed excited to play and be petted. She allowed handling and showed no signs of aggression. She took treats very gently from my hand.
06/01/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes Ciabatta is learning to be a dog at the Manhattan Care Center. She was found in our neck of the woods, all alone, at the tender age of four months. She did not know much about life…and barely had left her mother side. She is curious and shy, mingles with people and dogs, her eyes twinkling with wonder, experiencing, absorbing like a sponge so much information . She seems to enjoy peacefully whatever and whoever is around her like the genuine and good puppy she is. She goes with the flow and after an hour of socialization, she collapses in her kennel, falling into a deep and well deserved sleep…In puppy fashion too, she is very needy and makes the perfect lap dog, squeezable, huggable and kissable. She never has enough until again, she dozes with a soft snooze. She walks nicely on the leash but likes to be carried when it comes to stairs…Ciabatta is a delicious nugget , dark as night, sweet as pie and the promise of a wonderful forever best friend if you give her a chance…Ciabatta is hoping to be soon your dream girl..
