A volunteer writes: Winston would be honored!! A tiny peanut in his kennel, he’s so cute with his overbite, snaggle tooth and tailless wiggle butt, I can’t resist taking him out for a walk. Showing off his housetraining skills the moment we were out the door, as well as his great leash manners, Churchill is initially very shy hiding behind my legs and under the bench for a few minutes. It doesn’t take long before curiosity gets the better of him, and out he comes to explore. Churchill is a people person; he loves people, and he loves people willing to give him a butt scratch even more! As staff came into our pen to meet him (he’s just so cute!) he goes from one to another leaning in to be pet and get a butt scratch. His coat is clean and shiny, but he needs to gain some weight to round him out. Churchill may need to be your one and only canine companion, but with him by your side you don’t need anyone else. He’s adorable, friendly, gentle and ready to spend his life getting butt scratches.
