In a world of common names, when staff names a dog ‘Sweet Coco’, you have to know she is special. And indeed she is! This pretty little girl wears a well groomed coco color coat and although she is a bit too thin at the moment, she appears to have been nicely cared for. Sweet Coco is an energetic little girl who bounced as we walked, tail wagging at everyone we met. Her face is soft and delicate showcasing a beautiful bone structure. She seems to like other dogs, tail wagging in greeting to all. She gives stand up hugs, and joined me on the park bench for some cuddle time. She did not like being tethered for photos as she would much rather have been hugging or playing -or both! Sweet Coco is looking for an active home where there will be plenty of walks, lots of play time, and most importantly lots of love. Come meet our sweet girl today.

Sweet Coco continues to delight and intrigue. She is so stunning, wagging her tail and doing a dance in her kennel at the anticipation of going out. She maintains her housetraining skills ‘going’ as soon as we were out the door. Her leash manners are wonderful as she steps jauntily by my side, occasionally leaping up for a big hug. She is so ‘hugalicious’ our Sweet Coco!!! She gets serious when it is time for pictures, sitting properly and regally, donning a floral neckpiece for the occasion. Coco has a twinkle in her eye, a laugh in her heart and is waiting to share that with her special someone. She’s an awesome little girl, a volunteer favorite, hoping you will meet her today. Don’t make her wait.

Behavior: AVERAGE
Helper 962391
Sweet coco was calm and relaxed during handling. She was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. Sweet coco did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. She was not interested in toys or rawhide. Sweet coco was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful.
