A Volunteer Wrote: Yes, yes, of course we love them all differently for their differences but we love them all the same amount….except, maybe, well, OK, I love Charleston a little tiny bit more because how could you not???? This gorgeous gentle gray dog is chill in all the right ways–two dogs came charging at him in the park and he just wagged his tail and kept on walking–but also filled with enthusiasm and love, climbing into his walker’s lap without hesitation and making himself comfortable. He should be recruited by a sports league he is such an extraordinary ball player, and it’s impossible not to smile watching him chase the ball before bringing it back and holding it, tail wagging, begging you to take it out of his mouth before doing it again. It’s urgent that you come adopt the irresistible Charleston immediately because it’s no fair, us having favorites, but it sure would be wonderful if he was yours!
Another volunteer writes: Fabulous looks, playful personality, affectionate nature……wow – he’s a great dog! Likely housetrained he peed for so long I was afraid he’d topple over! Off leash in a backyard pen Charleston can amuse himself with a ball, batting it around, pouncing after it when it rolls, and having the best time on his own. Of course he loves it when the ball is thrown giving him a chance to leap after it stretching his gorgeous legs. As accomplished a ball player as he is, is as accomplished he is in the snuggle department. Kisses, hugs and tail wags abound as we cuddle, Charleston putting his paws on my shoulders at one point for better kissing proximity. In group play Charleston is bouncy and solicitous, enjoying the opportunity to play with other dogs. He’s amazing in all the right ways, and has won my heart and will win yours when you meet him. Don’t wait a moment longer.
