09/04/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Like a typical youngster, Capo is eager to discover his surroundings in the yard, but then just as enthusiastically returns to me once he’s explored for a few minutes, only to leave me again and return a few seconds later. As I sit on the bench, admiring his tiger stripes, watching him learn the ways of the world, each time he returns to me, I pet him and on numerous occasions, he rolls over onto his back, begging for a belly rub. On leash, he’s a bit of a puller–you can’t blame a young pup for wanting to cover as much ground as quickly as possible–but he always checks in with me, looking back with bright and ready eyes. Capo does his business outside and his previous owner concedes that he is housetrained. Capo has lived with children and another dog, both he is said to be friendly toward. At only 10 months old, Capo is on his way to not only discovering the world, but conquering it! All he needs is pet parents that can give him the guidance and training that all puppies need. Can you offer him that? Come to the Brooklyn Care Center and ask to meet Capo!
