A volunteer writes: Hold onto your hearts folks, amazin’ Raisin is in the house! I lost my own to her charms the minute we met when this sweetheart of a girl showered me with grateful hugs and kisses, so thankful was she to be going outside with a new friend. We walked calmly to the yard where the fabulous Miss R took care of all her business immediately (as in, practically on the doorstep!) before trotting along by my side and then easily into a pen. Off-leash she likes to divide her time between snuggling and playing and her fetch game is really top notch. Raisin never guards her things and will drop the ball or let me take it from her mouth with ease and she sits perfectly on command to wait for another throw (or some tasty treats) too. Fellow dogs are met with happy, polite manners and it seems there’s no one in the world Raisin doesn’t see as a potential friend. Needless to say, our resident brindle superstar totally aced her behavior assessment and would make a fantastic pet for almost any kind of family, from singleton to full house. Add a little fun and a huge helping of love to your life by visiting our Manhattan Care Center and picking up your very own lifetime supply of sweet sweet Raisin!
