05/09/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Beautiful, but camera shy, Cambel was grateful to go out for a walk and go potty. A gorgeous brindle girl who has been a mom more than once, she’s friendly and sweet, low key and affectionate. She pulls on the leash so will benefit from some leash training or the use of a harness but her smile and tail wag when she meets new people more than makes up for the pulling. Ignoring other dogs we pass on our walk, she’s all about making friends with the two legged species and happily greets a new person when she joins us in a backyard pen. Chasing a ball without a retrieve, Cambel much prefers to join me on the bench for some cuddling, doing a semi roll over for a belly rub. After a little more play, Cambel lay down, content to rest with me her new friend. While Cambel may not have known the life of a cherished, pampered pet before joining us, she sure deserves it now. Cuddling with her person is one of her favorite things to do, and I wish her a lifetime of cuddling. She’s earned it, she loves it, and is ready to adore her new person. Is that you?
