06/05/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Cadence came into the care center as a owner surrender, but we do not have information on her past behaviors in a home. During SAFER Cadence was sociable, but occasionally became distracted by her surroundings. She maintained a relaxed body posture for all handling items, and was also relaxed during the tag interaction. During the resources portion of the assessment, Cadence only showed minimal interest in the food, and was not interested in the toys or rawhide items. Cadence appears to be sociable, and has not shown any behavioral concerns while in the care center, so the department feels Cadence can be suitable for an “Average” experienced adopter. Look: 1. A shelter staff member writes:
Just look at his picture! How can you not love this pup? This friendly dog was surrendered because his owner’s living situation changed. Cadence did well on her SAFER and is now ready to find her family. She has lived with kids and has reported to do well around them. Pull Cadence tonight!
