Named after a young inexperienced fairy who transforms everything into pumpkins, Cadabby reminds me rather of a little grey mouse, timid and polite  and who enjoys the company of dogs and humans alike. She owns a very serious little face but her body language and her vigorously wagging tail tell me otherwise. She has a happy nature hidden under a veil of shyness. Cadabby has a wiggly body and a hopeful look when I approach her kennel. She knows what comes next..A walk and company. I read the comments from other volunteers on her walking log…Great gal, super friendly, obedient, house trained, does not pull on the leash…Yes, Cadabby is all that and more. She strolls beautifully around the block, does her business at once as we hit the street. She does not chase the birds or the squirrels and nears very nicely other dogs, big and small. In a pen, leash free, she hops immediately on the bench for hugs and kisses. She is extremely affectionate with our being overwhelming.She sits immediately on command and takes treats daintily from my hand. She welcomes two staff who come to say hello at our gate. Cadabby  might not be a fashion model, i doubt she can change things into pumpkins or appear and disappear in thin air, but she surely will transform you life into a most beautiful and happy one if you choose to adopt her and take her home as your forever best friend. Cadabby is at the Manhattan Care Center, dreaming and hoping to meet..You.
