12/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Buster came in as a stray, so his past behaviors in a home are unknown. During SAFER Buster came into the assessment room calm and relaxed, he was not interested with the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted. Buster became stiff with his mouth closed during look item. Buster was relaxed during the tag interaction. During the first paw squeeze Buster had stiff body language with his mouth closed next flank was applied which he didn’t respond. During the resources portion of the assessment Buster was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Due to some concerns Buster can become stiff during look item and paw squeeze, so the behavior department feels he can be suitable for an experience adopter with no children. Look: 3. Dog holds eye contact while remaining motionless with ears forward. His body is stiff with his mouth closed. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 3. Dog closes mouth, becomes stiff. Flank squeeze 1: 1. Dog does not respond at all. Toy: 1. Minimal interest in Toy, dog smells, then turns away. Dog-dog: When off leash with other dogs, Buster is tolerant of interaction but spends most of his time exploring his surroundings.

12/17/2015 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION
