11/29/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Bugatti is so easy to be with it’s only natural to speculate on what nicknames his lucky person will call him. “Bug” if, like me, you don’t know much about fancy cars or how their names are pronounced. “Boo” if you do. And of course, “Gatti”! He has a big head and a perpetual puppy face. He was a little shy when I first met him, but quickly warmed up to be playful and affectionate. He is easy to handle, seems housebroken, and eagerly sits for treats. He likes toys, will rest his paws in my lap while getting pet, and always makes very soft eye contact. By any name or nickname, this guy is incredibly sweet, endearing and charming. Come on down to Brooklyn ACC and make him yours!
11/20/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Bugatti came in as a stray, so his past behaviors in a home are unknown. At intake it was reported Bugatti was calm and relaxed, he allowed all handling. During SAFER Bugatti came into the assessment room calm and relaxed, he was friendly, social and attention seeking towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Bugatti joins the game during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Bugatti was easy to handle when engaged with the items. Bugatti appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels he can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted. His ears are back, his tail is down, and he has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 2.
