A volunteer writes (as told by Bruno): Hi everyone….don’t let my serious face fool you; I’m a schmushy boy who loves to cuddle and give kisses, I never stop wagging my tail and love to make new friends. I was happy to make a new friend yesterday, her name is Volunteer and she took me for a walk so that I could go potty. I wagged my tail the entire time we walked, I saw a bunch of dogs in the park but ignored them, and all the squirrels and birds were busy, busy, busy but I ignored them too. ‘Live and let live’ is my motto – they don’t bother me and I don’t bother them. Volunteer needed me to pose for some pictures so I was happy to do that for her (she told me nice pictures would help me get adopted and I think that means find a new family). After pictures we hugged a bit on the park bench and that was so nice. I’m a bit too thin Volunteer told me, but she said my coat felt like velvet nonetheless, and the gold threads in my coat make it shine. We went into the backyard and took more pictures, and when Volunteer called me I came to her. She tried to fool me and took off the bag where she keeps her treats, but I’m too smart for that and kept going back to the bag on the bench. I know that’s where the treats were! She did have some in her hand though and I took them gently. I’m looking for a new person or family to call my own, so please ask to meet me when you visit. That’s B R U N O – don’t forget!
