06/04/15 19:37 BASIC INFO Brady’s family adopted him from a rescue 4 years ago and surrendered him because she doesn’t have a place to stay. He has cherry eye in his right eye. He breathes loudly after eating. SOCIALIZATION Brady is friendly and outgoing with strangers. He’s relaxed, playful, and tolerant with children. He plays exuberantly with people. He lived with a large male dog in the past. He’s relaxed, playful, tolerant, and plays exuberantly with him and dogs he meets outside. He also lived with a cat and was relaxed, playful, tolerant, and played exuberantly with her. Brady has never bit anyone. BEHAVIOR Brady barks while he’s home alone and when someone’s at the door. Otherwise, he’s mostly well-behaved when home alone but occasionally gets into the garbage and/or scratches walls when he becomes anxious. He’s restless and breathes heavily during storms. Brady enjoys baths and is friendly with strangers that approach his home/family. He doesn’t mind when someone takes his food/treat/toy, moves him off furniture, brushes him, holds/restrains him, wakes him up, or cleans his ears. He’s nervous during nail trims. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Brady’s family describes him as friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, excitable, and medium-high energy. His owner loves that he’s a great movie and walking buddy and that he snores. Brady loves going to the park and going swimming. He follows his owner around. He plays fetch and chase and likes bones and squeaky toys. Brady lived inside and slept on a dog bed. He ate dry and wet low calorie Purina food. His favorite treat is chicken. He’s house-trained and doesn’t have accidents. He’s well-behaved while alone in a yard with a small picket fence. He’s been crated a few times and whines in the crate. He knows sit, down, come, and “mimi,” (go to sleep). He went for brisk walks and pulls lightly on his leash. Off leash at the park, he wanders but comes when called. He potties on grass and cement. INTAKE Brady had a soft body, wagging tail, and open mouth during handling-scan (-), collar, petting, switching leashes. He sat when asked for pictures and took treats gently.

Brady walks calmly on leash. He was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body. He was calm and relaxed during handling. Brady was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag. He did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. Brady was not interested in toys or rawhide. Brady was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful. Brady was surrender to us. According to his previous owner Brady is friendly and outgoing with strangers. He’s relaxed, playful, and tolerant with children. He plays exuberantly with people. He lived with a large male dog in the past. He’s relaxed, playful, tolerant, and plays exuberantly with him and dogs he meets outside. He also lived with a cat and was relaxed, playful, tolerant, and played exuberantly with her”. Brady did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) He is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor.
