I am a neutered male white and tan pit bull. The shelter thinks I am about 5 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 08/07/2015 from NY 11423, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

08/07/15 19:16 Basic Information Boster was brought in as a stray, after being found tied up in the street. Behavior during Intake Boster was friendly during intake. He allowed handling, and immediately allowed staff to pet him. Boster demonstrated his knowledge of the command sit in exchange for treats. Boster showed no resistance during handling and no signs of aggression during intake.

08/10/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Boster came in as a stray after being found tied in the street. He was friendly during intake and allowed all handling. He pulled slightly on leash for his relief walk. He allowed his head to be cupped in assessor’s hands, body soft, tail wag. He stood still and accepted the touch during Sensitivity item, open mouth panting, tail wag, body soft. Boster followed at the end of the leash for Tag game, body soft. He did not pull his paw back on both Squeeze attempts, lip lick, tail wagging. Boster removed his head from the Food dish when assess-a-hand was applied to his cheek. He had no interest in Toy. Boster kept a playful grip on Rawhide, body neutral. Boster approached the helper dog at an appropriate pace, ears relaxed, tail at spine level. The Behavior Team feels Boster would do well in an Average home. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted, with tail wagging, body soft. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture, mouth open and panting. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1/ 2: 1. Dog does not pull his paw back, lip lick, tail wag. Food: 1. Dog calmly allows the food to be moved, follows the dish, but does not interfere with the dish’s movement. Dog’s body is soft and loose, eyes soft, tail neutral. He lifts his head when hand is pushed against his cheek. Toy 1: No interest. Rawhide: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the rawhide. Dog-dog: 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, lip long or neutral.
