09/12/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Beautiful and young Bongo was found as a stray. He looks to me like a lost boy, a sad little boy who can not fathom what is happening to him…He lays calmly in his kennel and slowly comes to his door when I call him. He is totally compliant, gets leashed and walks at my pace, eliminating in one stop. He poses for the photo shooting but rarely looks in the eye of the camera. He comes when I call him…Bongo..and sits by my side , accepting caresses. What a beautiful dog he is ! Trim(he could use a few more pounds), dressed in a gorgeous ebony and cinnamon coat with delicate markings and healthy looking. We near a few other dogs about his size. Bongo is aware of them but shows no interest. He takes some roast beef from my hand and when I put him back in his den that is very clean and orderly, he kisses my hand like a gentleman. What is your story, handsome Bongo? Whatever it is, I hope that soon enough, a great home and a great master will open a new chapter in your life, filled with love, comfort and good food. Bongo is at the Manhattan Care Center ..
