09/09/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: His methodically placed wrinkles suggest an older wiser dog, his gold eyes seem to imply he’s had quite a history and his sly smile gives him the air of mystery. But looks are deceiving; Bobby is not a very serious guy at all! He is an athlete at heart and you can melt his just by showing him a tennis ball. He eagerly barks to tell you he wants the ball and when you throw it, he’s a mad man, going after it with so much gusto he often passes it up. He brings it back and is ready to drop it exactly where you ask him to. When I get tired of the game, Bobby playfully bats the ball around on his own, then hopefully gives it back to me again for another toss. I could tell he was getting tired, but I had the feeling it didn’t matter how many times I threw it, he would retrieve it with the same enthusiasm he did on the first throw. His previous owner confirms his love for fetch and toys in general. He said he was affectionate, tolerant and playful with kids as young as a year old. He loves baths and water-as long as the water is luke warm, of course. He doesn’t guard is food or toys, is reportedly housetrained and is well behaved when home alone. Bobby is the ideal guy for a family looking for an active, fun loving pup. Ask to meet him at the Brooklyn Care Center today!
