05/21/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/21/15 17:55 He was very friendly during the intake. He had a soft wiggly body, soft eyes, and a wagging tail and he was excited to exit the crate he was in. He allowed petting and handling and he showed no signs of aggression. He also took treats very gently from my hand.
05/23/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Bob waited so patiently in his kennel to go out as I took the barking dogs first, and he was just so quiet. When he stood up and followed me with his eyes I knew he needed to go out. Showing off his probable housetraining skills he took advantage of being outside immediately and then off to the park we go. Bob pulls hard on the leash and will benefit from a harness and/or some leash training to make it more enjoyable for both ends of the leash. He’s a magnificent looking boy in a slate gray coat, his weight perfect for his size and his coat clean and groomed. In the backyard Bob finds a tennis ball immediately and his tail wags, his eyes sparkle and he’s a happy boy giving chase and settling down for a good old fashioned tennis ball chomp. He lays down froggy style which I love, his tail wagging, and when I offer him a treat he’s conflicted – treat, ball, treat, ball and eventually of course has both. He comes when I call him, leaning in for petting, enjoying another treat which he takes gently from my fingers. He’s friendly and easy going, and even staff told me how much they liked him for his quiet and well behaved demeanor. When our time together was over he hopped back into his kennel without issue. As of this writing I suspect that our Bob Marley won’t be singing any reggae as he strikes me as more of a ballad kind of a guy. Ask to meet him today!
