A volunteer writes: Blue Moon is big, black as night and beautiful! A gorgeous youngster left with us as his master is moving to a place not allowing large dogs….Blue Moon comes with excellent comments..Good with strangers, other dogs and kids. He even lived in harmony with 3 cats. This is really a super extra bonus…Everybody seems to own felines…Blue Moon has been remarkably well cared for. He must have quite good genes too, though. He is magnificent, healthy and his coat, is, oh my…gorgeous, thick and so silky to the touch. I love his face, his smile and his ears that seem to form a hat on his head…Someone cut his tail short in a Rotie fashion…I wonder why? Yep, I was quite taken by Blue Moon.. He is big at 63 pounds, pulls a little on the leash and seems very much house trained without marking his territory. He is enthusiastic when it comes to a ball or treats but can sit upon request after a few prompts. He is not mouthy or toying with the leash. He is quite affectionate and a kisser who would not mind to fit his whole body on my lap ..Blue Moon is a very good looking young man, energetic, playful, sociable and very friendly who would love to share his life with an active owner or family. He is for you to meet on the Manhattan Care Center adoptive quarters. Blue Moon aced his behavioral evaluation and is ready to go home with you…
