A volunteer writes:

If Blue Moon was a human, she would be a runway model. She is just perfect, statuesque, elegant and so beautifully made . She has been outstandingly cared for too and it is too sad that her family had to give her away because of personal problems…Indeed, beside being beauty in person…Blue Moon seems to have been a wonderful friend, good , playful and careful around the owners young children.  At the care center, she looks  breathtaking in her kennel. She comes forward, indicating that she would like to go for a walk. She appears so well mannered. Taking her out is no disappointment. i had already seen her walking in the street with another vounteer. Absolutely majestic on the leash. I left her loose in a pen. She came when I called her, sat on command and took politely chicken from my hand. She accepted my caresses and ran after the ball, taking it in her mouth and coming back toward me. She was not too sure…It must be hard to have been part of a family since puppy hood and suddenly to have to trust and play with strangers… She met a few dogs through our fence and she was fine with them. You are doing good, Blue Moon…Just keep doing what you are doing and every body will love you..Blue Moon, a precious jewel,  is at the Manhattan Care Center, waiting to meet her new owner or family.
