A volunteer writes: The Happy Sisters is what I’ve dubbed B (yes, we’re on a nickname relationship now) and her sister Montgomery A1052007. Both so anxious to come out for a walk, tails wag, paws reach out, smiles abound and out we go. Going potty as soon as we’re out the door B shows off her housetraining skills, and then her good leash manners as we head to the park. She’s a delight to walk, ignoring other dogs we pass, checking up often as we go, watching squirrels in the park burying nuts for the winter, and making birds fly. She doesn’t mind being tethered for photos, giving me her ‘this is serious stuff’ look as she poses making soft eye contact. She wags her tail at everyone, comes in my lap for some hugs and kisses, sometimes a little nibbly when she kisses. With other dogs in group B solicits play once she’s comfortable, and is a “gentle, dainty” player. Friendly, fun, and with just the right amount of energy, B aced her behavior assessment indicating she’ll be a good fit in just about any home. Maybe yours? Ask to meet her today!
