12/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Biff Tannen walks calmly on leash. He doesn’t want to approach to the assessor. Biff Tannen became uncomfortable with handling; he will retreat, snap and attempted to get away from the handler during the assessment. The behavior team decided to skip the handling part of the assessment for safety reasons. During the resources Biff Tannen was not interested in toys. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Toy 1: No interest. Playgroup Notes: When off leash with other dogs, Biff Tannen shows heightened arousal throughout interaction. He displays a high wag, dilated pupils and tall body posture. Biff Tannen is forward when greeting other dogs, but does not engage much further.
