A volunteer writes: I met Lobo the moment he came to the care center. He was found as a stray and had been given a bath by his finder as he was so poorly groomed. What a good looking dog..So shy too, so reserved and he has remained that way through his stay at the care center. Lobo is a very gentle dog who walks beautifully on the leash and could be house trained as he does his business during our stroll around the block. He does not mark his territory and is polite meeting other dogs on the way. free in a pen, he comes right away and majestically when called and accepts caresses. He has this nice way to lodge his head against my chest. He is quite a sweet dog, rather young at 3 years of age and really beautiful in his lush orange and cream coat. I imagine that in a loving environment, lobo would transform into a playful pup, bouncing after a ball and running through the Great lawn in Central Park…He is for sure a wonderful pooch sure to make a master happy and proud to have him as a forever best friend. Come and meet Lobo at the Manhattan Care Center
