Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Benji came to us as a stray on 7/6/15. Upon intake it was reported that Benji had loose body language and allowed all handling. He was very interested in interacting with the assessor when entering the behavior room. He was very easily handled during the tactile portion of the assessment and maintained very soft body language throughout. Benji proved a bit difficult to push out of the food bowl, but had soft body language. He took the toy away from the assessor strongly, but had loose body language. In playgroup Benji shows more interesting in interacting with humans than engaging in play with other dogs. Sometimes he is nervous and just wonders the yard, but does offer appropriate correction to other dogs. The behavior department believes that Benji can go to a home with and average amount of dog experience. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions.
