A volunteer writes (as told by Bear): Hi, my name is Bear. For a really long time I thought my name was “he’ssocutecanIpethim”, but I finally figured it out. My parents were a Rottweiler and a pit bull, and even I agree that I don’t look like either….I look like ME! I have a gorgeous (I’m not conceited, just honest) coat that’s clean and groomed, and I know all the female dogs envy my beautiful eyes. I don’t wear makeup – honest – I’m natural! I’m on my way to being housetrained, but I’m young so will probably need some refresher training, and I already know how to sit. I sit faster if I see there’s a treat involved and if I see the treat I’ll even sit before you ask me; I’m smart like that. I love to play, and when I get excited I jump sometimes, so need to learn that not everyone wants to be jumped on. Especially when I get bigger I know people won’t want me to do that. My leash manners are good and I love to wag my tail when I walk, and I get prancy dancy on the leash sometimes too. I’m so cute and fun that when I was out walking with my new friend named Volunteer, people were actually talking to me from their cars. Cool, huh! I had been adopted when I was a little younger and then returned because my person got a new job (what’s a job??) and worked really really long hours and he didn’t want me to be alone so much. So, here I am looking for a new family to grow up with. I really hope
you hurry up and come meet me, I’m neutered (what’s neutered?) and ready to come home with you today!!
