07/07/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Banjo was difficult to remove from his kennel he was grabbing the leash and plays tug-of-war with the leash on walks. Banjo was excited but very interested in interacting with handler during assessment – jumped up, grabbing at the leash. He was excited during some of the handling items, but had soft body language. He did a lot of jumping up, body checking and played tug-of-war with the leash during tag interaction. Banjo was a bit difficult to push out of the food bowl, but had soft body language. He took the toy and rawhide away with a stiff body language. Banjo snapped at the friendly dog during the assessment. Banjo is an active dog, he need a significant amount of exercise and mental stimulation. The behavior department feels that he may do best with an experienced adopter who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment. We also recommend a home without young children; older children can be considered pending interaction. Look: 3.
