A volunteer writes: This dog is quite the fire cracker. Filled with affection and playfulness, Ashley is one of those perfect dogs, the kind it won’t take long to decide that this is the doggie for you. With her good looks, being a tan color overall with a white chest, and so very pleasing to pet. Ashley was great on our walk, hardly pulling a lick, and yes, I did get some doggie licks, didn’t you know that’s what we volunteers get for pay … And who could ask for more. Let’s see, Ashley knows to “SIT” on command and knew just where to do her business. After our walk, I try to really let the dogs run and be themselves, so I take them to our dog run, and Ashley was truly, one of the best points of my day. She roamed all over the run and then I introduced her to our tennis ball and the game of fetch, it wasn’t long before this smart doggie was running for the ball, retrieving it, and bringing it back to me, dropping it by my side, “Good. Good. Doggie.” I love it when doggies are aloud to be themselves, that’s being affectionate, playful, and attentive to their owner. This is one dog you should come in and meet at our Brooklyn Care Center. Wont you open up your heart for this doggie … Do it today … Hands down, it’s going to be one of the best decisions of your life. And I’m certain that this doggie would love nothing better than meeting you and coming home with you to be your doggie for the rest of his life.
