Armand was difficult to remove from his kennel showing teeth, growling and lunges trough the kennel. He did not show any social behavior. Once he was out of the kennel he stands tall and makes direct eye contact. Armand was giving a low growl and exposed his teeth. The behavior team decided to place him back in his kennel he was difficult to handle. Due to the behavior demonstrated in the shelter the behavior department believes that Armand is not an appropriate candidate for SAFER. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home.
