09/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Annie Lennox is fearful of the shelter environment he walks with a low and fearful body language. She was shy but friendly during the assessment – low body and tail, but trying to stay close. Annie Lennox was shy and nervous and trembled during handling, but had soft body language. She became very fearful while playing tag. Annie Lennox showed some concerning behavior during the food bowl test – stiffening and growling, but did not snap at or bite the assess-a-hand. She was not interested in toys or rawhide. The behavior department feels that she may do best with an experienced adopter. Annie Lennox is somewhat fearful and needs time to warm up to the handler. Annie Lennox may require positive reinforcement behavior modification to address this food guarding behavior. We also recommend a home without children Sensitivity: 2. Dog accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, shy body language, mouth closed, lip long, ears likely back, may lip lick. Tag: 3. Dog repeatedly turns quickly away when touched, and repeatedly tries to exit. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Food: 4. Dog freezes and growls. Toy 1. No interest. Rawhide 1. No interest. When off leash with other dogs Annie Lennoxgreets and continues to approach the other dogs to sniff. She will correct when play is solicited. 9/19 update: Annie Lennox allows greeting, then explores the yard.
