A volunteer writes: Pocket Pittie Alert! This peanut of a little girl was up front in her kennel, giving me the eye as I walked by…..tail wagging, eyes lit up, inviting me to take her out for a walk. No resisting this little beauty I leashed her and out we went. Annabelle used the “facilities” as soon as we were out the door, so is likely housetrained and off we go to the park. Her leash manners are lovely and while she pulls slightly from time to time, she’s tiny and easy to manage. Sweet and easy, she posed for pictures not minding being tethered and sitting for a treat. Once she knew where I keep my treats as soon as my hand neared them she executed a prompt sit, looking up expectantly. Smart girl! In group with other dogs she can sometimes be a bit defensive, but as of this writing has only been in one group. She’s been a mom a couple of times, even at her estimated young age, so that may explain some behaviors. She didn’t want water offered in the park, but happily jumped back in her kennel once we were back and lay down to rest. Like me it seems, she’s not a fan of the heat. Adorable, petite, sweet, gentle and a delight, Annabelle is looking for a new family. The Urban Dictionary defines Annabelle as “The most beautiful girls in the world, men fall at their feet and women would kill themselves to look like them.” Our little miss was sure named appropriately. Come meet her and see for yourself.
