PROFILE:
Basic Information: Angel is an altered 14 year old Beagle mix. Owner stated Angel has some health concerns such as Cataracts and a lump under her stomach. Owner surrenders Angel because of no time.
Social Life and Personality: Angel lived with two adults and been around children. Owner stated Angel is playful, relaxed and respectful towards everyone in the household. Angel has interacted with other dogs and she is respectful and tolerant. Angel lived with a cat name Shadow A1050728 and owner stated Angel is relaxed and tolerant towards the cat. Angel is mostly indoors and activity level is to a medium. Owner describes Angel as playful, excitable, affectionate, anxious, mellow and friendly.
Behavior Issues: Angel has never bitten or scratched anyone to owner’s knowledge. Angel doesn’t guard his food or toys but will guard a bone owner stated. He will growl if anyone touches his bone from a chicken. Angel loves taking a bath and being brushed. Angel will bark if unfamiliar people approaches the house or family member.
For a New Family to Know: Angel is trained to use the bathroom outdoors. Angel can hold her bowel movement from 6am-8am. Any time after 8am she will use the bathroom in her crate. Angel knows commands such as sit, down, come, stay, go outside, good, bad, and time for bed. Angel is crate trained and can stay in her crate for over 9 hours. Angel follows owner around the house and is well behaved when home alone. Angel is afraid of storms and fireworks. Angel eats wet and dry food called Alpo twice a day.
Intake Behavior: Upon intake Angel was nervous and tense with admission counselor but was loose bdy with owners. Angel was barking when owners had left. Angel scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.
