09/07/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes I guess if twins Billings and Missoulian came on foot from Montana, they would not be as chunky and well groomed as the two rotund papas we have here at the Manhattan Care Center. Billings and Missoulian are friendly characters, very ready to come out of their kennel , take a walk, do their business and be in company. They are very sociable , can be carried(they are heavy), come on the lap , walk nicely but do not do stairs….They are quite perky and happy when they see other dogs, even ten times their size…Billings and Missoulian have been may be a bit too well nourished but they have been well cared for. Their coat is thick, silky and free of matting. Their personality shows their love for humans and ease around other dogs. True, they are 12 year old but lively and sociable enough to make loving and loyal best friends. Billings and Missoulian are waiting patiently for their life to start again…home and with the love of a master.
