09/02/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Alex pulls hard on leash He was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body. He was calm and relaxed during handling. Alex was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. He was a bit difficult to push out of the food bowl, but had soft body language. Alex was not interested in toys but took the rawhide away with a soft body language. He rushed in confidently towards body is tense, ears erect and high tail wag. Alex did not show any concern during the handling and resources of the behavior assessment but he show a bit of concern inside the shelter. When he’s off leash, he is friendly with other dogs. But when he is on a walk or when he’s in the kennel he showed barrier frustration and barks at other dogs. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Alex may be frustrated by the bars of the kennel because he cannot approach other canines. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2.
