A volunteer writes: Our pudgy little brindle girl, Rubenesque, oh so pleasantly plump wears a shining coat, and a sweet smile on her graying muzzle. Even her intake picture shows her sweetness smiling through. Surrendered by her owner due to “personal problems”, we can only admire the resilience and bravery of this sweet senior. She ambles along doing fine on three legs, one front leg apparently lost a long time ago as there is no visible scar at this point. She rolls over for a belly rub, takes treats so sweetly, and has been in play group with others, tolerant, greeting appropriately and then roaming the pen. She’s easy, gentle and so content to hang out with her person, that I surrendered my heart to her in about two seconds. Acing her behavior exam indicates she’ll be a good fit in just about any home. She’s looking for a new home, a person to rub her belly and provide lots of love. Don’t wait a minute longer, come meet our brindle beauty today.
