A volunteer writes:   Krypton is the planet that brought us Superman, and now it brings us ‘Super Pup’!  This adorable little puppy was my first walk of my day and what a perfect way to begin!   Waiting eagerly in his kennel he hopped out once leashed tail wag wag wagging away.   Taking care of his business the moment we were out the door indicates he may be on his way to being housetrained, but as a puppy will need some reinforcement training.  He’s fabulous on leash, greeted dogs of all shapes and sizes with a joyful tail wag, and showed off his ‘sit’ when asked.  He takes treats gently but also gets puppy mouthy in play as puppies do and will need some positive reinforcement training to curb that impulse.  Intake notes say he is “social, playful and friendly” and oh yes he is! Krypton leaps after a tossed tennis ball but hasn’t learned retrieve yet and is hoping his
new family will teach him to play.  Snuggly, kissy, mouthy, playful, wiggle butt, soft and cuddly all describe Krypton.  In play with other dogs he’s a typical puppy, playful, mouthy and bouncy.  When I passed his kennel a short time later he was sound asleep as puppies do – play, sleep, play, sleep.   If you’re a puppy person happy to take on the commitment of positive training, can provide structure and tons of love Krypton would love to meet you.
