A volunteer writes: Move over Bradley Cooper, a new hunk is taking the city by storm! Pop Pops has already won over the hearts of both volunteers and staff, man or woman! With his giant squishy head, ears cropped way too close (only a superstar can pull those ears off with the dignity that Pop Pops manages!), lips that often get stuck on his teeth, and a physique that is a cross between athletic and a hippopotamus, Pop Pops already has his own fan club. The fact that all the staff know his name, amongst the sea of dogs at the Brooklyn Care Center, is a testament to his popularity. But Pop Pops is not all beauty; he has the charm that goes with it. He walks nicely on the leash, seems housebroken and when you let him lose in the yard, it’s clear that toys and fetch are the way to this boy’s heart! And Pop Pops is all wiggles and tail wags when he met a male dog in the adjacent pen. He loves to get close and will back his behind into you for a good butt scratch. Pop Pops has all the charisma and appeal of a real celebrity, all he needs now is a place to call home!
