A volunteer writes: Beyond gorgeous. Seriously! His tan coat is clean and groomed, his weight perfect for his size, and his walk elegant, easy and sexy. Pulling a bit on leash until he took care of all his business, he then walks nicely with only a slight pull from time to time. His light tan eyes match the color of his coat and he uses them to make soft eye contact showing warmth and intelligence. Paul looks up at every person we pass, perhaps wondering if this will be the lucky person who gets to take him home! Off leash he explores the pen, sniffing out every scent of every dog who was there before him. Relaxed and easy, he’s in no hurry. Paul rejected both my treat offerings, so perhaps he was holding out for something better. Sorry Paul! Greeting other dogs gently through the fence, once in group for his first time he didn’t engage but will have other opportunities. Having just joined us when I met him Paul is still a bit stressed and I know will open up a bit as time goes on. I look forward to spending more time with him, but mostly I look forward to watching his tail wag as he walks out the door with his new person or family.
