A volunteer writes (as told by Light): Hiiiii, my name is Light and maybe I was named that because my coat is a light color? Not only is it light in color, it’s lush and clean and has been nicely taken care of. I’m told I’m gentle and sweet and my two favorite things to do are play with a tennis ball and snuggle in a person’s lap. If I can chomp on a ball and snuggle at the same time….well……….that’s ideal! I’m housetrained, good on a leash, sit when asked to, shake both paws, and am calm and easy. I made a new friend yesterday, her name is Volunteer, and she loved cuddling with me and I was so happy to share my ball with her. When she sat down to do something I lay at her feet with my ball, just happy to relax with a friend. I let her play with my feet (she’s funny like that), but it was so nice to chill out and relax I was happy. I like other dogs to be calm and not in my face, and I need to be neutered (ouch, but I know that’s a good thing), before I come home with you. I don’t know what a behavior assessment is, but I’m told I aced it, so that means I’ll be a good fit in just about any home. I’m ready to be your BFF so all you need to do is ask to meet me. I’m waiting for you.
