A volunteer writes: Resting quietly in his kennel, Kirk stood up as I opened his door, wagging his nubby little tail. Happy to be out for a walk he went potty immediately and off we go. His leash manners are lovely as he motors along, but his back legs are a bit weak so every once in a while he stumbles but “picks himself up, dusts himself off, and starts all over again” to quote the song. Sweet and friendly he loves a good butt rub, and absolutely loves having his head rubbed, leaning on my hand as I pet him. His eyes seem to have a bit of age related cloudiness, but despite any age related issues he’s fun, friendly, affectionate, sweet and adorable. He doesn’t know he’s no longer a youngster and I’m not going to tell him! I dubbed him Captain Kirk, and this little guy is ready to pilot himself around your home and find a nice comfy spot on which to lay his beefy head. Come meet him today.
