A volunteer writes:
Ice is an ideal model for a painter or a photographer. She is gorgeous, feminine, elegant , obeys the orders and stays still upon request. A dream….I was told, though that she was a bit nervous when she arrived at the care center and true to the matter, she was a little tense at the beginning of our time together. Treats and play time won her over . By the time our encounter was over, Ice’s serious face transformed into a laughing one. Ice is a very beautiful young girl, barely one year of age. She has been so well cared for…She is healthy, the perfect weight and wears the most well groomed and shiny silver and ivory dress. She loves to pose it seems for pictures. I love the way she sets her feet, anxious may be to look her best.. I am crazy about her giant ears that wiggle in all directions. I wonder if she could not be part Greyhound. Ice is very playful, not so much with the ball but likes to play tag. She seems to like other dogs and welcomes other people who come to say hello. Her forelegs battle the air and her face show excitement. She seems very much house trained and eliminated as soon as we leave the building. She is a sweet lap dog and knows how to cover her caretaker with kisses. Ice needs may be a few minutes to warm up when she exits her kennel but when she does…she is all out, a happy babe who knows how to enjoy her time and make her human friend glad to be with her. Ice is at the Manhattan Care Center waiting to meet you.
Another volunteer writes: Elegant, classic good looks……a beautiful smile, sparkling eyes, a sigh of contentment….snuggling close at complete ease with a friend. Happy to be able to relax, get away from the noise and activity inside….a moment in time of peace. Who is going to be the lucky person who gets to offer this forever to our Ice…..a gentle, peaceful soul looking for her new partner.
