I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 11/13/2015 from NY 10457, owner surrender reason stated was PET HEALTH.

11/14/15 15:55 S/O: ulcerated mass on digit 2 on right front foot (purulent discharge, has eaten away at her nail bed, open/raw/ulcerated tissue). also has a mass on the dorsal aspect of her anus (anal sac gland adenocarcinoma vs. perianal adenoma). lung sounds slightly harsh, no heart murmur. BCS 3/9 (underweight), nuclear sclerosis OU, severe dental disease. A: neoplasia geriatric dental disease P: new hope placement recommended

11/13/15 19:09 Goya A1057817 is an approx 13 year ol lab mix. She is being surrendered because of vet costs. The owner says that Goya’s nail came off and it got infected. She has been to the vet multiple times this week. Socialization Goya is very friendly and outgoing with strangers. She plays exuberantly with both adults and children. She lived with a small dog once and she played well with her. She does not like cats. She has not bitten anyone or any other animal. Behavior Goya lived in a private house so she had a back yard. The owner let her out several times a day and left wee wee pads at night. Goya is terrified of fireworks and thunderstorms. She is not bothered when you take her food bowl, treats or toys away. The owner says that she can also be fed by hand or out of a spoon. Goya loves baths as long as its very warm water and in the shower. She does not like being sprayed with a hose. For a new family to know The owner describes Goya as friendly, affectionate, mellow, playful, and excitable. She has a high activity level. She loves to follow the owner around and sleep in the bed. She does not like to be alone. She loves to cuddle. She knows how to sit, stay, laydown, roll over, kiss, shake, and down. She pulls lightly on the leash. She is well behaved when left alone in the home. She has been mostly kept indoors. She is a very picky eater. She only eats pedigree and beneful. She loves chicken soup, brocolli, and carrots. Behavior during intake Goya had a loose body and wagging tail. She kissed her owners goodbye and greeted us. She allowed to be leashed, scanned(-) and photographed. She came in with an E collar and was having trouble getting around. We transferred her into a kennel.
