11/28/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
11/28/15 08:29 Timmy A1059041 and Cami A1059040 are being surrendered because the owner is no longer allowed to keep them in her apartment. Timmy and Cami have been living together all of their lives. Timmy is a 12 year old west highland terrier and Cami is a Yorkie/chihuahua mix. They were given to the owner as a gift from her late brother and she has been taking care of them for the past two years. Their last vet visit was in 2014 and they have no known health issues. Socialization Timmy and Cami are very friendly and outgoing with strangers. They play very well and exuberantly with children. They lived in a home with 5 children, ages ranging from 2-15 years old. They play well with eachother and love to be snuggled up. They are fine with cats and have not bitten anyone or any other animal. Behavior Timmy and Cami are both trained to go potty outdoors as well as indoors. They love baths and loves being brushed. They are fine when taking their food bowls, treats or toys taken away from them. For a new family to know The owner describes them as babies. She says that they are very affectionate, love to be held and cuddled and love being together. They follow the children around the house and love to play with their toys. They know how to fetch and play tug. They love to go on brisk walks. They slept on their beds together and sometimes with the owner. They were both fed wet food only. Behavior during intake Cami and Timmy were brought inside of a carrier. Both dogs were inside and whined as their owner left the facility. They allowed me to open the door and I let them out. They both ran around my feet, with wagging tails and open mouths. They jumped up at me and I picked up Cami. I held her while I leashed Timmy and he barked for me to put her down. When I put her down, he jumped and licked her. I scanned and collared both dogs. I positioned them for their photographs and they sat and barked at eachother. They allowed to be carried and transferred into a kennel. They licked our hands and wagged their tails.
